Our Story

As a second-generation Korean American raised in Los Angeles, I learned early that clothing could be about much more than what we wear.

When I was young, my mother often took me shopping. We would walk through stores filled with pieces we could not always afford, and she would carefully study the colors, fabrics, and prints. Every so often, she would find a shirt or dress that caught her attention. She would hold it against herself, stand a little taller, and light up with confidence.

Those moments stayed with me.

When I created Niobe Clothing in 2014, I wanted to make that feeling more accessible: the excitement of finding something you love, the confidence that comes from wearing it, and the freedom to express your own style.

What began in our living room grew into an independent California business serving customers online. While the way we source and fulfill products has expanded over the years, our focus remains the same: approachable prices, a useful selection, clear shopping information, and attentive customer service.
